What You Will Do:

The Technology Project Coordinator will work closely with the project manager helping the project teams manage resources and information and assisting with scheduling and planning meetings and project activities. Coordinate and track project tasks and communicate expected deliverables. Ultimately, this role will ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards.



Essential Responsibilities

    Scheduling and organizing meetings and preparing meeting minutes. Documenting and following up on necessary actions and decisions from meetings. Track project tasks and communicate expected deliverables to ensure the project meets requirements and deadlines. Provide status reports and project updates to various stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze project requirements from stakeholders and users. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that the project deliverables meet business requirements.
  • Manage detailed project schedules and work plans. Create and maintain project documentation.
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical issues or risks. Working with the project team to develop solutions to resolve issues.
  • Undertaking project tasks or other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years strong verbal and written communication.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Analytical Thinking: Breaks problems and issues into sub-components and then assesses the costs, benefits, and risks of various options before selecting a particular approach.
  • Time Management & Organization: Manages time effectively to ensure that commitments and tasks are completed in a timely manner. Organize and prioritize tasks to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Teamwork: Is an effective team player who adds complementary skills and contributes valuable ideas, opinions, and feedback. Communicates openly and candidly with empathy and clarity. Understanding successful projects requires a coordinated team effort.

The salary range of the grade for this position is $25.87 to $37.52 per hour (typical workweek is 37.5 hours). Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to: budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
