*HYBRID Radiology Scheduler*
*Training/Schedule: *2 months ONSITE, then fully REMOTE (with the exception of 1x/month onsite). *Description* * This is a radiology scheduling position and requires previous experience scheduling radiology appointments. * Serves as a point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers to provide assistance with scheduling radiology appointments for the system. * Responsible for receiving the referring orders from physicians, verifying insurance and obtaining prior authorizations & communicating appointment details to the patients. * Serves as a liaison between referring physicians, patients, specialists, and team members. * Navigate patients through the continuum of care. * Increase business and patient satisfaction by using excellent customer service skills to navigate patients within the system and coordinate all appointments for services/ consults. Part of the healthcare delivery service, reducing gaps in care, identifying and helping a patient overcome possible barriers across the care continuum including arranging transportation to appointments, directing patients to financial counseling options, assuring that language translators are available to patients. * Schedule radiology appointments such as MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and X-rays. Ensure that all necessary pre-appointment preparations are communicated to patients and that appointments are scheduled in a timely and efficient manner. * Perform data entry and complete all data records with concise patient information and appropriate coding where appropriate to ensure proper tracking of leads. * Understanding of all databases used such as Epic, Calibrio, CRM, Cisco phone system, and Physician database. * Delivers monthly reporting demonstrating outcomes and performance of service. * Follow-up with patients via telephone and correspondences and collaborate with providers and care team as necessary. * Maintain confidential records and files/screens telephone calls and resolve routine inquiries/problems. * Develop a thorough understanding of the systems services including tests, preps, and procedures for the proper and timely scheduling of all clinical and radiology services. Have knowledge or understanding of insurance plans, medical terminology, and financial assistance programs. *Skills* patient access, radiology scheduling, surgical scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorization *Additional Skills & Qualifications* -*MUST HAVE* 2 to 4 years experience within Radiology/Radiology scheduling -Strong insurance knowledge -Experience running insurance verifications and prior authorizations *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
