Job Summary

The Senior Finance Manager for Facilities and Operations is responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and management functions within the facilities and operations sector.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
? Develop and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models for facilities and operations.
? Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership.
2. Budget Management:
? Lead the preparation of capital and operational budgets for facilities and operations projects.
? Track and manage expenditures to ensure alignment with budget goals.
? Evaluate and prioritize funding for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
3. Operational Efficiency:
? Collaborate with operations managers to identify cost-saving initiatives and improve resource allocation.
? Implement financial controls and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
? Drive process improvements in procurement, contract management, and expense tracking.
4. Strategic Decision-Making:
? Provide data-driven recommendations to support facility upgrades, energy efficiency initiatives, and space optimization projects.
? Develop financial models to evaluate the ROI of operational investments and initiatives.
? Support negotiations for vendor contracts and service agreements.
5. Team Leadership:
? Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and coordinators, fostering professional growth and development.
? Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve financial and operational goals.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
? Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
? Conduct audits and risk assessments for facilities and operations financial activities.
? Maintain accurate records of expenditures, contracts, and project funding. Provides ongoing financial support (and resolves inquiries) to Account Executives, Site Managers, Contract Managers and subcontractors.

Qualifications:
? Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
? Experience: 7+ years of finance experience, including roles in facilities management, operations, or project finance.
? Adept at detailed planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing financial information. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects under pressure and during tight deadlines
Technical Skills:
? Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
? Familiarity with facilities management software is a plus.
? Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and capital expense planning.
Work Environment:
? Remote working model with travel-based responsibilities and occasional site visits primarily on the east coast. Required travel is up to 25%, including overnights
