Job Responsibilities:

The Administrator runs the infrastructure of the ADA's State Public Affairs (SPA) program, and also provides administrative duties for the department of state government affairs. Major duties include scheduling meetings and conference calls, developing and distributing recaps of those meetings, tracking project assignments, financial tracking and reporting, contract implementation and providing increasing substantive input into programs and processes relating to the SPA program and individual participating constituent programs. Position may work across teams to provide support to other divisions.

Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • 1 year of administrative assistant work experience juggling calendars, editing content for errors, and working as a hub of information across departments; or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Skills: Verbal communication, writing, self-starter, results-focused prioritization
  • Advanced Word, Intermediate Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint
  • Must be willing to travel twice per year
  • May require more than the standard number of hours of work within a workweek with before or after hours work and weekends; eligible for overtime


Nice to Have:



  • Experience handling the payment of invoices
  • Experience taking official minutes and drafting notes
  • Deep experience with Microsoft suite of applications
