You will report to the Senior Sustainability Program Manager and work closely with the Global Head of Sustainability.

What You Can Expect

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Marvell's Sustainability program. The Sustainability team sits within Marvell's Legal department, however you will partner with global and cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Real Estate, Quality, Finance, Engineering and others, to manage the collection and tracking of sustainability data across the company and ensure accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and manage a software platform and coordinate collection of company-wide data for annual Sustainability Report and other annual sustainability disclosures, such as CDP and Ecovadis.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual inventory for Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as well as water and waste management.
  • Maintain large datasets using various data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerBI) and support data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Support internal and external sustainability data auditing and third-party verification.
  • Assist in responding to customer sustainability data requests and surveys.
  • Support product life cycle assessments and carbon footprint (PCF) modelling using existing tools and help refine methodologies and improve internal documentation.
  • Provide support with the execution of various sustainability projects and initiatives, including sustainability risk assessments, materiality assessments, employee engagement around Earth Day etc.
  • Conduct ad hoc desk-based research into industry best practices and peer benchmarking on various sustainability topics.
  • Support research and data review for various rating and ranking agencies (e.g. MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, Bloomberg, S&P, Moody's) and help improve Marvell's scores year over year.
  • Support Sustainability Team day-to-day logistics and operations, including additional administrative work and task management

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Data Management/Data Science or related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sustainability consulting and/or a technology company
  • Proficiency in data analysis and data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerBI) and ability to maintain and analyze large sets of environmental, social, and governance data for sustainability reporting purposes.
  • Strong understanding of greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol), and experience with corporate Scope 3 reporting
  • Familiarity with the US and international climate regulation, and working knowledge of voluntary reporting frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, Ecovadis
  • Strong project management and time management skills to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced global setting.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to present metrics, explain findings, and articulate issues and challenges together with proposed solutions to various groups of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues, analyze potential impacts and translate ideas and insights into viable recommendations for action.
  • Estimate breakdown of time: ESG Reporting (50%) Customer Inquiries (35%) Ad Hoc (15%)
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: electricity/power and renewable markets, operational water and waste management, circular economy, product sustainability, supply chain emissions management preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental and/or social issues relevant to semiconductor or technology industry preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor, or another technology industry, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance, such as Conflict Minerals
  • Comfort with navigating complexity and uncertainty.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

85,530 - 128,100, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
