Engineer I/II - Mechanical / Nuclear Engineer Summary This position is specific to the Robinson Nuclear Plant (RNP), located near Hartsville, South Carolina. This position is for a Mechanical Systems Engineer within the Operations Support Engineering - Mechanical (OSEM) team. The overall team is responsible for the strategic direction of all mechanical plant systems, including reactor and steam plant mechanical systems as well as balance of plant mechanical systems. The team also supports troubleshooting efforts and routine maintenance/testing. This position requires high individual motivation to solve complex analytical problems and plant issues. Due to the diversity of assignments within the OSEM team, a continuous learning aptitude is required. This position also requires performance within a team-oriented environment that is very customer focused. Engineer I The Engineer I position is the entry level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve problems in engineering areas of specialization with close supervision. An Engineer I is expected to develop skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer I has knowledge of fundamental concepts and procedures. Nuclear Engineer II The Engineer II position is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with general supervision. An Engineer II is expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. Responsibilities:
