nWhat We Need

We are looking for an Associate Fleet Manager who will play a critical part in supporting Element's profitable growth through the timely completion of high-quality credit underwriting and portfolio management duties.

As an Associate Fleet Manager, you would provide client support to drive achievement of customer retention, penetration, and growth goals. Build and maintain relationships with the customer / Fleet Manager by proactively consulting on customer needs and managing tactical processes to optimize the productivity of the fleet.

A Day in the Life

  • Partners with Fleet Manager to contribute to success of the assigned Client's vehicle fleet program by assisting with defined aspects of client's fleet operations.

  • Supports the Fleet Manager in fleet related projects where needed by leading overall tactical support and execution with clear direction from client and Fleet Manager.

  • In partnership with Fleet Manager, assists in monitoring and recommending adjustments to the Client's fleet policy to maximize the fleet's efficiency and profitability, ideally reduces the Client's liability exposure and follows industry Best Practices. This includes acquisition, maintenance and remarketing as determined by cost effective life cycle analysis.

  • Keeps abreast of fleet industry Best Practices and brings these Best Practices recommendations to the attention of the Fleet Manager for possible execution and helps support that execution.

  • Supports Fleet Manager in tactical duties such as maintaining accurate inventories of vehicles, equipment, and titles as liaison to Element FPS.

  • Schedules and/or provides reporting required by client as well as ad hoc needs. This can include reporting and analysis across vehicle ordering, inventory management, driver management, and other programs.

  • Support client and Fleet Manager as liaison with Element FPS Partner.

  • Supports Internal Fleet Manager team as needed. Supports Manager where needed when capacity permits

Requirements

  • Must have a BS or BA in business or related field required.

  • 2-5 years relevant customer service or client account management experience, preferably in a B2B service environment

  • Must be proficient in Excel (V look ups and Pivot tables)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and execution.

  • Strong rapport-building and effective relationship skills with persons having a broad range of backgrounds.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential. Demonstrated success in juggling competing priorities and tasks.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong presentation skills; an effective listener.

  • Fleet Industry knowledge is a strong asset.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400 - $83,050 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
