Job Description Summary

The Data Analytics and Reporting (DAR) team at Enterprise helps more efficiently and effectively achieve our mission by driving the organization's data strategy, analyzing and reporting on organizational performance, and partnering with our IT department to strengthen our internal data systems.
We are hiring a Sr. Analytics Manager to help DAR deliver value and insights to our organization and business leaders through advanced data visualization, analysis, and dynamic data tools and reports. This is a critical role in the execution of Enterprise's overall data strategy.

The Sr. Analytics Manager must have proven experience in performance reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics. They must have strong teamwork and communication skills, be excited about learning and problem-solving, and have a passion for social justice.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of interactive dashboards, reports, maps, and other dynamic data tools to meet specific business needs.
  • Plan and build data integrations, develop data models, and build data marts that support the analytical and reporting needs of our businesses, in close collaboration with the DAR Data Engineering team.
  • Optimize the performance of PowerBI dashboards, code and SQL queries.
  • Lead efforts to develop, define, and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Interpret results and effectively communicate data insights through presentations and executive reports.
  • Develop expert knowledge of Enterprise business operations and data assets.
  • Develop and champion visual and UX standards for the DAR team.
  • Coach and mentor internal personnel and contribute to professional development opportunities for members of the team.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews, follow all data privacy & security protocols, and maintain thorough project documentation to support the department's overall commitment to accuracy and transparency.
  • Be a champion for the use of internal data and support our businesses and programs in adopting data-driven approaches and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience using data to inform strategies, business decisions, and/or policy (Master's degree equivalent to two years of experience).
  • Educational background in business analytics, business intelligence, performance measurement evaluation, data science, geographic information systems (GIS), nonprofit management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with SQL databases and standard statistical methods and languages, preferably Python.
  • Expertise with data visualization and mapping platforms (PowerBI, ArcGIS, Tableau).
  • Expertise creating data models and data marts designed to meet specific business needs.
  • Expertise in data programming and automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating data for non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptable and collaborative, with experience working with diverse, multi-functional teams, virtually or in-person.
  • Excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Curiosity, desire for self-improvement, passion for social equity, and excitement about sharing new skills and knowledge.

Additional Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience working in a mission-driven organization.
  • Familiarity with issues in community development, housing policy, urban economics, demographics and/or real estate development.
  • Experience utilizing key public datasets from the U.S. Census Bureau data (ACS, PUMS), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development data (CHAS, AHS, Picture of Subsidized Households), and others.
  • Experience with Azure cloud data services
  • Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce)

The base salary for this role is $103,000 to $113,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
