Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Compliance team as aProject Manager!

About the role

As a Compliance Project Manager, you will partner with Compliance and Law leaders to aid in project management - including but not limited to project development, progress, interdepartmental coordination, research, communication - for their larger initiatives (e.g., Records Management). Successful candidates must have direct knowledge about and experience with insurance compliance in addition to their proven project management skills.

What you will do




  • Lead all aspects of assigned Compliance project management including but not limited to: project planning and development; analysis of related rules, regulations, and policies; needs and gap analysis and other research; identification of cross function/department resources and stakeholders; communication planning for interested and affected parties; and management of other aspects of Compliance initiatives to meet assigned deadlines and achieve anticipated results.
  • Stay current on effective project management techniques; and changes within Symetra, industry issues, and regulatory developments relevant to assigned work.
  • Build and maintain internal relationships and keep Compliance leaders informed of relevant information.

Compensation

$93,900 - $156,600 annually plus eligibility for Company Annual Bonus

Who you are




  • High school diploma required
  • College degree or equivalent work experience experience
  • At least 5 years experience of life and annuity insurance products
  • Life insurance compliance experience strongly preferred
  • Project management certification strongly preferred
  • Advanced level skills in executive and stakeholder communication, project management and meeting facilitation
