Function:

Supply Chain Job Summary:The Manager Sales and Supply Chain Analytics is a critical role supporting the Sales Planning and Analysis and Supply Chain teams to capture and organize relevant data into actionable insights using a variety of sources and developing impactful analytics. The candidate will develop story-driven insights and in-depth analyses to influence strategic business decisions. Exposure to senior and sales management may be required.

We are looking for someone who can influence business decisions through furthering a data-driven and analytical culture. This individual will ask the right questions and translate them into impactful analysis involving diverse data sets. The Manager collects data, compiles reports, interprets data, and provides information and recommendations to the sales, product, and supply chain teams. The position helps support the analysis of historical sales and supply chain performance, planning and projection of future sales, and will actively participate in planning meetings with key leaders as a subject matter sales data expert. Job Description:

Be the key point of contact in reporting, analytics, and insights-generation with the aim to drive continuous improvements and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's sales and supply chain.

  • Support supply chain's overall data analytics and infrastructure strategy with a focus on reporting, establishing, and monitoring key performance indicators.

  • Streamline sales and supply chain reporting as needed to ensure consistency and user utilization, as well as seek opportunities to improve data collection, reporting and consumption based on business needs.

Constructs analytical models, including the following activities:

  • Collaborate with business partners such as Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, and others to investigate analytical opportunities.

    • Analytical project examples: terminal lease renewals, various netback analysis', production alternative analysis, sales contract analysis, etc.

  • Formulate and developing parameters for the analysis.

  • Lead a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Summarize, identify, and present key findings and insights.

  • Develop recommendations for appropriate course(s) of action.

  • Build Tableau self-service reports across transportation modes, ensuring accuracy of data, developing and sustaining reporting governance.

Collects and analyzes quantitative & qualitative data for department deliverables and sales/supply chain projects:

  • Manages the organization and coordination of historical sales databases, including supply related data, such as production and inventory by plants.

  • Manages the preparation and analysis of sales volume and price variance explanations for use by financial/accounting and investor relations department.

  • Provide analytical support to Supply Chain team for driving data-based solutions to complex supply chain challenges and be able to present relevant information in non-specialist forums.

Serve as the internal sales expert for sales volume forecasts for annual plan and projections throughout the year.

  • Coordinate with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Sales Product Teams to develop the sales volume forecast by product.

Develops presentations to summarize historical sales volume and pricing for sales management, historical transportation costs for supply chain management, senior management, and Board of Directors.

Manages and mentor Sr. Sales Analyst and other peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, a data-based analytical environment, and professional development as it relates to sales and supply chain analytics.

Successful incumbents will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in analytical position or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's Degree in economics/business preferred. MBA highly desirable.

  • Superior quantitative and analytical capabilities with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to work with multiple systems/sources and combine data; an expert in data collection.

  • Ability to think critically, listen reflectively, consider many points of view on a topic, recognize connections, to guide leadership decision making process.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively across functional areas and with all levels of the organization.

  • Familiarity with database management, statistics, and mapping applications (Tableau) preferred.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $107,600 - $151,5000.

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.

In addition to base pay, an incentive program is available to all full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including two medical plan options, a health savings plan with a company contribution and a match, dental and vision benefits, a well-being incentive program, 401(k) Plan which provides a protentional of receiving between 10% and 13% of employer's contribution, life and disability insurance, paid time off programs and much more!
