Description:

Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Vascular Surgery team. The successful candidate will primarily work inpatient with the vascular surgery team and will cross train to support ambulatory clinics with back up phone call support for our nurse. There is a minimal monthly Saturday requirement with this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the inpatient setting with the Vascular APP team and the attending physicians.
• Assist with new patient intake, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in patient education and counseling.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Maryland.
• Certification by the appropriate certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular surgery or a related specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15 per hour - Maximum 82.38 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
