ProvidesHuman Resource support for assigned operational teams, including performance management, employee relations, on-boarding support, leadership coaching, compensation reviews, HR analytics, policy development, and process improvement. Advises and trains managers, supervisors, and employees on all HR policies, practices, and procedures. Offers support on local regulations, contract language, policies, etc. Perform a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Address all employee concerns and ensure accurate and timely documentation of issues.
  • Monitor employee morale and company culture and make suggestions to improve employee experience.
  • Work in conjunction with the Employee Relations Manager to conduct investigations, document warnings, as needed.
  • Prepare Reduction in Force (RIF) analyses and notifications as required by the Human Resources Business Partner.
  • Support managers and employees through the new hire process for both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Assist employees with general benefits
  • Support Worker's Compensation and DBA claims by providing all the necessary details and documentation.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on policies and procedures.
  • Review and update policies and procedures for continuous improvement on our efficiency and effectiveness and design new policies when necessary.
  • Assist the recruiting team with job descriptions and search support, as needed.
  • Create documentation needed for staffing requirements and business reports.
  • Partner with the Labor Relations team to support to all assigned Business Lines though fully understanding:


- Policies and Procedures

- Collective Bargaining Agreements:

- Requirements - Layoff, Leave, Disciplinary steps,

- Compensation - Rates and increase dates

- Health and Welfare - Rate and increase dates

- Wage Determinations

- Incorporated Revision Number

- Leave requirements - Executive Order status

- Health and Welfare - Rates and increase dates

- Compensation - Rates and increase dates

- Process all Role Changes - Information needed to process all employee movement and changes

- Leave eligibility

- Payroll policies and procedures

- Contract or site-specific requirements

- Additional items as assigned

  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with Service Contract Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements preferred
  • Government contracting industry experience preferred
  • Proven experience in employee relations and progressive discipline
  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws and common HR policies and procedures
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Suite products
  • Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
  • Able to work alone and meet deadlines on a broad variety of projects
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in HR or business-related field or equivalent experience
  • PHR or SHRM Certification preferred
