IT Intern

TheIT Intern- Service Deskwill be a critical part of theIT Team. The IT Intern will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support project managers and IT team members in various enterprise-wide IT initiatives.

We offer a flexible work environment. This means working up to 2 days a week remotely and the rest of the time in the office at our Waltham, MA location.

• Assist in the setup of desktop and laptop computers including the development and maintenance of computer images.
• Support end-users with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software to ensure continued usability of equipment and software.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed computer science, software development or networking coursework
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Attention to detail, flexibility and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while meeting expected deadlines
• Some experience in Batch file writing and/or scripting
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
• Highly motivated and energetic
• Strong work ethic and tenacity

Education Requirement

• Must have a high school diploma and be enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree.
