Responsibilities

The Vice President of Finance leads operational, financial and programmatic activities while coordinating and administering our financial strategy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our financial operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall goals of the company. The position provides financial stewardship and direction through effective business leadership, identifying opportunities to strengthen internal controls, budgeting processes for operations and capital, and their related monitoring, and management. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop financial strategies that stimulate growth and drive profitability while maintaining strict fiscal discipline. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in healthcare finance with a proven track record of success. This role is instrumental in shaping the financial future of our organization through innovative financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and risk management.   • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals
  • Lead the finance team in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis activities
  • Working with Revenue Cycle, develops an effective feedback loop process to leaders regarding their performance on our ability to collect for services
  • Provide direction and leadership for operational management of Finance department to result in a well-qualified, empowered, informed, and productive workforce

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare finance, including hindsight reserve analysis, with at least five years in a leadership position
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payment methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights
  • Demonstrated experiences in strategic planning and execution
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and develop teams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Worked, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, non-profit experience
