DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Roadway Programs Technician 2 position is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career while collaborating with diverse management teams. In this role, you will evaluate maintenance work operations and confidently develop and verify operational work standards. Partnering closely with the Roadway Programs Coordinator (RPC), you will take charge of budgeting, planning, and analyzing data to effectively review maintenance activities, programs, and costs across Clinton and Centre Counties. You will play a critical role in assessing maintenance work operations and gathering essential data to ensure compliance with county standards. You will utilize various tools; including county maintenance measurement tools, efficiency and effectiveness measures, and dashboards. Furthermore, you will leverage maintenance management systems to create comprehensive long-term and short-term work plans and schedules. Your strong communication skills will be pivotal for excelling in this role, emphasizing technical expertise in roadway program management. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime and shift work may be required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mill Hall. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1; or One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
