POSITION SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating graphics to accompany all marketing campaigns. This position consults on the creative direction of campaigns and offers feedback and creative solutions. This position ensures designs meet quality requirements and project goals and adhere to brand identity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Graphic Design - 100%

  • Creates digital static graphics for internally and externally facing marketing collateral including but not limited to direct mail pieces, email headers, postcards, signage, posters, handouts, etc.

  • Offers creative design solutions to meet internal and external client needs

  • Ensures designs meet quality requirements and project goals and adhere to brand identity

  • Prepares files to send to print vendors

  • Monitors progress on projects to ensure that established parameters are followed, and timelines are met

  • Keeps digital assets organized and up-to-date

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

  • Manages quotes, orders, and timelines with external vendors

  • Prepares cost estimates and maintains accurate records of work in progress for billing and department records

  • May work on special projects or other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

  • Communicates with external vendors

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years' experience; design portfolio required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, and Teams

  • Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) skills

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Solid understanding of print design, copy, branding, and print media processes

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to maintain high productivity and creativity

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Typical office environment - sedentary with typing, writing, reading requirements
