The Corporate Training Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote the institution's corporate training programs to local businesses. This primary sales position focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, identifying training needs, and driving sales to achieve established goals. The role requires a proactive approach to client engagement, effective communication of program value, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as instructors and associate deans, to ensure alignment with client objectives. Success in this role will be measured by meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics in a commission-based compensation structure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect, establish and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential clients that could benefit from Corporate Training Center (CTC) services. Consistently achieve or surpass established sales goals and performance metrics.
- In collaboration with the Director of Contract Operations, execute client communication and agreements including contract proposals, service agreements and services delivery and evaluation. Ensure that all communications are consistent and comply with State statutes, Wisconsin Technical College System requirements and other college policies and procedures.
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and client engagement using CRM tools to store client information in alignment with department and college protocols.
- Collaborate with team and contribute marketing initiatives to clearly communicate the value of WCTC's Corporate Training Center's programs and customize solutions to meet client objectives.
- Assist with developing prices, forecasts and budget of assigned services. Collaborate with Contract Fulfillment Specialists to monitor and control related expenses.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target local businesses and industry sectors. Proactively identify, contact, and secure new clients to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Advocate the College's mission and all services to best meet the needs of our internal and external clients as well as the community at large.
- Serve on approved college, community, and industry-related committees and boards.
- Maintain current professional and technical knowledge through professional education and activities. Know and stay current on related regulations, in-demand training needs, and business trends.

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and techniques and the ability to practice a problem solving approach in selling educational services.
- Knowledge of adult learning/instructional processes.
- Basic understanding of contracts and program pricing process.
- Familiarity with the Greater Waukesha County business community as consumers of educational services.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills - oral, written and listening.
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills, working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage time and organize work.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team and/or with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field & Two years minimum experience in business-to-business sales, customized training or service sales
OR
- Associate's Degree & 5 years minimum experience in business to business sales, customized training or service sales
OR
- High School Diploma & 10-12 years minimum experience in business to business sales, customized training or service sales

Supplemental Information

This position is available to start on or before, March 31, 2025.
This is a fulltime, benefit eligible position.
Salary: Base salary of $65,000 annually. In addition, earn a 5% commission on sales, paid quarterly, with the potential to earn up to an additional $35,000 annually.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
