You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in modeling and simulation activities of complex systems

  • Experience with Digital Engineering processes and tools

  • Experience in DoD Verification, Validation, and Accreditation Process

  • Experience with developing, designing, and the facilitation of modeling and simulation software and hardware

  • Experience with using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, including MagicDraw or Enterprise Architect to develop and document UML or SysML system architectures

  • Knowledge of model validation and verification

  • Knowledge of DOD Instruction 5000 Series

  • Ability to apply sound engineering judgement to compare simulation outputs with predicted hypotheses

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with reverse engineering

  • Experience with engineering and mathematics

  • Experience with modeling and simulation in a digital engineering ecosystem

  • Experience with extending systems models into other tools and creating Digital Twin models and simulations

  • Experience working with a DoD Test Agency such as DOT&E, ATEC, AFOTEC, and OPTEVFOR

  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) process, tools and languages

  • Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition process

  • Knowledge of Developmental and Operational Testing

  • Knowledge of Verification, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification (VVUQ) Testing

  • Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
