Description

Position Title: Appraisal Reviewer I

Location: Can be remote but must be located in AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MO, MS, TN OR TX.

Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision, the Appraisal Reviewer is responsible for reviewing appraisals through the Appraisal Department's ordering system and communicating with lending staff and appraisers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Review appraisal reports
  • Communicate with lending staff and appraisers
  • Manage appraisal reviews within his/her queue


Job Specifications:



  • Candidate should have a basic or minimal understanding of real estate appraisals, or experience with opinions of value, comparative market analysis, and real estate
  • Have a basic or minimal understanding of real estate lending
  • Position requires accuracy and ability to coordinate and prioritize workday efficiently
  • Individual must be a self-starter, conscientious, comfortable with detail, able to exhibit professionalism in communication skills, possess excellent typing skills, and must be able to work under the pressure of deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field
  • Experience with appraisal software a plus
