Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Operations Research Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO to support United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) customers in the Space Sensing Program Element Office. The Senior Operations Research Analyst has experience in satellite ground mission data processing and satellite operations. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in space based enivronmental monitoring (SBEM) missions for DoD and/or civil satellite systems, have a modeling simulation and analysis (MS&A) background, and be able to develop and execute your work assignments from general guidance and objectives provided by management. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Responsibilities Our team specializes in crafting Digital Engineering analytical pipelines with a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) data model front end. These pipelines employ a micro-services-based architecture on a cloud-deployable system to maximize nation-wide system availability, scalability, data integrity, and security. They support organizations with highly-responsive cutting-edge analytical insights which are helping change how the space domain supports the joint war fight. In this role you will:
Engage with space-related customers to understand their space-related analysis needs and translate them strategically into work products.

Target salary range: $102,000 - $180,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
