The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across CW owned properties. Duties include general building maintenance and upkeep. Key duties include routine building inspections, preventive maintenance, basic repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, painting), furniture assembly, and responding to service requests. The role requires a hands-on problem-solver with knowledge of tools, safety standards, and basic computer skills. Experience with tools and equipment relevant to repairs and maintenance is essential, along with a good understanding of safety practices.



  • Mission & Professionalism: Uphold CW's mission and values while demonstrating professionalism in all tasks.

  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular building inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and systems function properly.

  • Painting and Repairs: Patch holes, sand, and paint surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim.

  • General Building Upkeep: Maintain common areas, replace batteries, change lightbulbs, and check circuit breakers.

  • Furniture Assembly: Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

  • Safety Inspections: Ensure facilities meet safety standards and address potential hazards promptly. Schedule and manage inspection timelines.

  • Service Requests: Respond to maintenance requests through the online ticketing system and coordinate external services when needed (e.g., elevator repairs).

  • Inventory Management: Maintain and track tools, supplies, and equipment to ensure they are adequately stocked and functional.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.


Other Qualifications:



  • Basic computer knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Physical and Environmental Demands

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.

  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.

  • Potential exposure to electrical hazards, chemicals, dust, fumes, and loud noise.

  • Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, and hard hats.
