Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with 12 to 15 years of experience in Java Full stack Java Design Patterns Java 8 Java 11 and Microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Retail Banking and Commercial Lending domains. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a day shift. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex Java Fullstack applications.
• Oversee the implementation of Java Design Patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
• Provide technical expertise in Java 8 and Java 11 to optimize application performance.
• Develop and maintain Microservices architecture to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in software development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Java Fullstack development.
• Should possess strong knowledge of Java Design Patterns.
• Must be proficient in Java 8 and Java 11.
• Should have hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Must have domain expertise in Retail Banking and Commercial Lending.
• Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

Certifications Required

Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer Certified Microservices Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
