Field Service Engineer - Boston, MA - Remote

The ideal candidate must reside in the greater Boston area.

Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities

• You will provide exceptional customer careand build positive relationships with customers
• In the event of an issue, you will provide technical support to customers
• One of your responsibilities will be to tie workflow to scheduleto minimizeunnecessary travel. Travel to customers by ground, train, and air transportation as needed
• You will provide training to customers on the essential use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments
• You will performfieldservice,calibration,and installation of complex mechanical systemsand perform preventative maintenanceand field sterilizations
• One of your tasks will be to assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations. Follow all company's procedures and protocols, as well as perform software updates/upgrades
• You will assist in drafting documentation of process and procedure as required
• Keep accurate records via written and paper form, keep a precise count of parts assigned to the engineer
• Regularly, you will be asked to produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reportsand prepare customer-facing estimates of repairs
• Pass along identified leads to the sales manager
• Travel to our Ann Arbor, MI, Albuquerque, NM, Fremont, CA, andadditionalfacilitiesand sitesfortrainingandconferencesas needed
• All other duties as assigned by management
• Expect up to 35% overnight travel to support Field Service activities
• Lift items that weigh up to 35 Kg

What Will Convince Us

• You have completed an associate's degree or engineering or military training certificationsand/or 5+ years of proven field service experience
• You can troubleshoot, test,repair,and service technical equipmentwithexcellent mechanical,electrical,and IT skills
• You have a valid Driver's License
• You are proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

We Value:

• You can work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
• You have a minimum of 3+ years of field service experiencein the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry
• Completion of bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, biomechanical engineering, biomedical engineering,or a related field
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
• Excellent driving record
