  • Compensation Range: $100,000 to $125,000 per year. This range is regarding base pay only and does not include benefits and potential bonuses. Overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographical location, skillset, education, and experience.

Peaklogix, an Alta Equipment company, is an industry leader in the Material Handling market segment providing innovative solutions that simplify the warehouse order fulfillment experience and introduces new efficiencies that increase productivity when fulfilling customer orders. We are currently seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our PickPro WMS product development team in either our Syracuse, NY or our Richmond, VA office, on a hybrid schedule. We are specifically looking for professionals with 5-10 years of development experience with a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will work closely with our architects and senior developers to learn our product and how our customers use our product to gain efficiencies through automation in their warehouses, distribution centers, and in their manufacturing facilities. You will apply this information to:



  • Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
  • Testing and deploying programs and applications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software.
  • Act as the technical lead for assigned clients and be the technical liaison with those clients



Position Requirements:



  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
  • 5+ years doing full stack web development.
  • 5+ years of experience in communication with other applications and/or hardware devices using sockets, database tables, Web Services, or via a communication middleware.
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing source code control software.
  • 5+ years developing software using: .Net Core, Angular, WPF, SQL, or C#.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • 20% Travel to customers' locations.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5+ years developing software using: Java, JavaScript, MVVM, C++
  • 2+ years' experience doing web UI development.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Software
  • Experience in an Agile environment
