Job Summary

The Field Operations Intern will work closely with our field operations team to support various construction and paving projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in field operations, project management, and construction processes, while contributing to the successful execution of projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist field supervisors and project managers in daily operations and project execution.
  • Observe and learn about construction methods, equipment usage, and project workflows.
  • Participate in site visits, taking notes and documenting project progress and challenges.
  • Help with the preparation of project documentation, including reports and daily logs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices.
  • Assist in coordinating materials and equipment needed for construction activities.
  • Provide support in communicating with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop industry knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in construction operations and project management.
  • Good understanding of construction terminology and processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to various tasks.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
