Job Title Configuration Manager, Senior GBQ.022 Location Alabama - Gunter Maxwell - Montgomery, AL US (Primary) Job Description Torch Technologies is seeking a Configuration Management Senior located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL, within the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), to support The Agile Support Office. First, the Agile Support Office is working to identify and document the technical/operational baseline for all BES programs and standardize and optimize how BES programs establish and use technical environments and supporting infrastructures to assist program teams in delivering high-confidence programs. Responsibilities: This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in configuration management to include but not limited to the duties below: Atlassian Toolset experience: Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket Proven expertise in Jira configuration, including workflows, screens, custom fields, and plugins Experience with Confluence configuration, including space management, content organization, and templates Familiarity with Bitbucket configuration, including repository management, branching and permissions Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, and governance bodies Documenting and communicating technical and governance outcomes clearly and concisely Team collaboration skills; working across departments and with Capability Delivery Teams (CDTs) Source control tools and methodologies (Git, Bitbucket) Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ITIL/ITSM frameworks Version control, change management and auditing processes Ability to develop and enforce configuration management policies and standards Experience driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity Job Requirements Required Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD OR, Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications eight of which must be in the DoD. Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold active DoD Security Clearance (Secret) Must have active/current DoDI 8140.03 Certification, work role ID: 806 CompTIA Security+ CE is required.
