The Myles H. Thaler Center for AIDS and Human Retrovirus Research within the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on projects investigating post-transcriptional gene regulation in mammalian cells and viruses. Under the supervision of Drs. Marie- Louise Hammarskjold and David Rekosh, the incumbent will participate in laboratory projects involving a combination of microbiology, cell biology and molecular biology. A large component of the project will involve analyzing RNASeq data using various pipelines on the UVA high performance computer. Preferred skills include
