The Manager, Corporate Partnerships position is responsible for managing tournament sales efforts, and for meeting and exceeding individual sales goals, by generating revenue through hospitality packages and sponsorship sales locally, regionally, nationally, and abroad.
The primary responsibility of this position is to help drive revenue for the Boeing Classic - an annual PGA TOUR Champions event - through the creation of comprehensive sponsorship packages and the cultivation of new and existing partnerships. This individual will build relationships and work closely with tournament staff and tournament committees to advance hospitality and sponsorship sales. Based in the greater Seattle area, this position will also be very involved in the administrative, fulfillment and client activation process once the sale is confirmed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Achieve clearly defined sales quotas and be accountable for achieving quarterly sales targets such as revenue sales quotas, client meetings and prospecting calls.

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to conduct cost analysis of sponsor products and deliver proper margin
  • Ability to identify potential sponsors, create connection points and make coldcalls
  • Promote the benefit of sponsorship of the Boeing Classic to a broad range of prospects across industries
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking skills to advance the sales process in a productive way
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate contacts on a national, regional and local level
  • Manage entire sales process for respective clients - prospecting, presentation, negotiation, contract, activation/fulfillment, invoicing, follow-up, renewal
  • In conjunction with other team members, develop and execute sales/prospecting events, chamber memberships etc.
  • Manage the sales administrative process: contracts, inventory management, revenue tracking and proposal creation
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales tools including our CRM system and sales collateral
  • Travel throughout the year and ability to work on weekends, as needed
  • This position will be hired as a contract role and must have the ability to work year-round.
Qualifications
  • Individual must possess a positive attitude and be able to manage a fast-paced work environment through effective time management and prioritization
  • Proven track record of sales and sales growth
  • Must be able to meet (and hopefully exceed) established sales goals on an annual basis
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members on all aspects of the tournament
  • Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in SportsManagement, Business, Communications, Marketing or other related fields
  • Proficient in software packages: Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM software (Hubspot, Sales Force, etc.); Social Media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook); Adobe (Acrobat, Photoshop is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
