Columbia University in the City of New York: Columbia University Irving Medical Center: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: Medicine: Medicine - Nephrology Location 02 Open Date Sep 09, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $78,155 - $80,000 Description We seek a dynamic, energetic Associate Researcher Scientist to support the planning and implementation of NIH-funded studies that investigate ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) relating to the inclusion of people with disability in precision medicine research. Working directly with the lead researcher, the Associate Researcher Scientist will support all aspects of these projects, including conducting literature review, quantitative and qualitative data collection, data analyses, and assistance with professional presentations and manuscript preparation. The ideal candidate should have experience conducting empirical research, familiarity with ELSI research, and background in public health and/or social sciences scholarship. Interest and knowledge in disability studies is a plus.
