The Staff Associate I will handle administrative issues for the PI, manage inventory of samples or data (i.e., tissue, core, MRIs, etc.); ensure that equipment or machinery is operating and maintained properly; work with study participants, including recruitment and interviewing. This includes administering standardized interviews of medical and family history, everyday functioning, neuropsychological testing, and recruitment of research participants. S/he will assess capacity to consent and obtain informed consent in this minimal risk study following Institutional Review Board policies and regulations. Additionally, reimbursements; may be involved in tissue sampling, such as taking blood; coordinate meetings or events; assist with the preparation of materials for publications, funding, or compliance; manage scheduling under the PI's direction to ensure that deadlines are met; and coordinate and work with external or partner organizations.
Requirement - Bachelor's degree in specific research field and 4 years experience preferred. Additional Preferred Requirement - Phlebotomy, medical history questionnaire interviewing, good organizational and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, computer skills, abilirt ro conduct chart reviews. Must be able to learn and operate research project software.
