Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Geneva, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Troubleshoot automated systems issues associated with PLCs, A/C, and DC drives.
  • Identify the root cause of upsets, suggest a course of action, and manage the implementation of corrective action measures/solutions.
  • Perform preventive, predictive maintenance as needed.
  • Program various types of PLCs.
  • Support Safety, Quality, HPS, and Cost goals and metrics.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment through engagement efforts and leading by example.
  • Make necessary edits/redlines to schematics drawings and provide them to the engineering department for accurate documentation.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $65,000 - $76,000 / year.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Direct Placement.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment conducting support and installation.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Controls or Industrial Maintenance.
  • SCADA, Rockwell RS Logix, AMSC.
  • Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Other Legacy PLCs.
  • Ethernet and Fiber Optic Communication Systems.
  • SQL Databases.
  • Solenoid and Pneumatic Controls.
  • Instrumentation and Process Monitoring.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
