Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA and Bloomington, MN locations. This is a 12 + month contract position. Description: Seeking a Sr. Business Analyst Our client is on a journey to becoming the best IT organization in the airline industry, a journey of transformation. Responsibilities: Support and enable business change Elicit requirements from business owners for projects and perform the necessary analysis and documentation to ensure the changes are made Work with Business and IT teams to Client and identify APIs, document requirements for APIs and API consumers, develop test cases for automated test suites, and develop documentation Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain business requirements for various projects and/or systems from initial phase to final implementation, assure requirements meet standards; troubleshoot, coordinate, and maintain production systems/programs/applications; assist in maintenance and communication of project status reports and tracking Provide efficient project processes and deliverables to shorten the project life cycle, where applicable Work with application support and development team to fix software bugs and escalated issues Lead resolution to issues with interfacing systems built on different technologies Facilitate and participate in regular project status reviews Convert high-level User Requirements into executable, detailed User Stories to enable development Create and maintain the product backlog Conduct planning sessions with the teams to prioritize work in upcoming sprints Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority Engage directly and daily with delivery teams to execute the project Ensure product acceptance and readiness at key phases of the delivery cycle Develop communication materials and lead communication efforts around the product, priorities and future roadmaps Attend and lead design sessions with the product team Requirements: Bachelor's degree High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency Experience developing requirements and test scenarios for automated test suites for APIs Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods Demonstrated technical expertise to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs Able to effectively and professionally communicate with management, staff and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results Able to deliver quality work on time and translate planning into action by following applicable established procedures or methodologies Experience in API practice/program at a large organization Strong experience in discovery, identification, and documentation of APIs Ability to work with multiple IT and business teams to gather and document API requirements Desired skills: 3-5 years of project coordination and previous airline business experience Strong communication, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, customer focus Works well within tight deadlines (able to prioritize) Able to prioritize work on multiple project teams, with the overall goal of satisfying all deployment needs and effectively supporting diverse clients Pay Range: $45.52-$53.52 If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
