Overview

TRC is seeking a Pipeline Manager and Outreach Support candidate to support the delivery of a large commercial and multifamily energy efficiency program in Oregon and SW Washington. Through the program, we deliver technical assistance and cash incentives to customers to help make electric and natural gas energy efficiency upgrades possible.

TRC creates and implements sophisticated and innovative solutions to the challenges facing America's energy markets and infrastructure. As a national energy and environmental services organization, TRC provides its services to America's major industries, utilities, banks, insurance companies and federal, state, and local government agencies. Together we will solve the challenges of making the Earth a better place to live - community by community and project by project.

This person will be instrumental in moving the pipeline of projects forward by looking at the status of overall goals and project milestones, identifying pitfalls and gaps in sales and project management processes, and digging into the details, when needed, to identify solutions. For projects that are not moving forward on an appropriate schedule or need to be removed from the pipeline, this role will be responsible for identifying those instances and directly prompting responsible parties to ensure an accurate pipeline.

A passion for process improvement, curiosity, and ability to look from different perspectives will be key attributes for achieving success in this role. Are you always asking why something happens a certain way or seeing ways to streamline a process? Do you see automation as a necessary solution to optimization? Are you able to delve into details in pursuit of a larger strategic question and not get lost? If so, this opportunity may be a match for you.

The ideal candidate will be assertive, personable, and a self-starter, experienced with data analytics, project management principles and managing a pipeline of projects from lead to completion. They will understand electric and natural gas energy systems (HVAC, boilers, foodservice equipment, etc.) and display a passion for energy resiliency and bridging gaps between under-resourced customers and utility programs. Previous outreach experience with energy efficiency programs, building performance principles and best practices, and/or construction management is strongly preferred, but not required.

This position will be based in Portland, Oregon.

TRC is committed to promoting diversity and equity within the clean energy sector. Diverse backgrounds and perspectives are essential to the utility of the future, and we are working to empower candidates of the global majority, disabled, women, and LGBTQIA2+ persons in the field of energy project management.
