Job Description

Eagle Hill is proactively recruiting a temporary Acquisition Quality Specialist to support a project for our General Services Administration client. The Acquisition Quality Specialist will be responsible for conducting quality reviews of contract files, identifying best practices, and providing recommendations for standardized operations across the office. The Acquisition Quality Specialist shall be readily available and able to respond to customer issues, concerns, and comments as well as be proactive in identifying process improvement recommendations.

This role will be remote.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:



  • Conducting organizational audits of contract files to ensure pre- and post-award acquisition quality
  • Collecting data and providing analysis on acquisition and strategic performance metrics
  • Providing review, analysis, and recommendations for improvement for customer directed reviews and audit initiatives
  • Working with team members to develop, implement, and correct solutions related to a large Program Management Office
  • Recommending and drafting oversight and management processes to assess organizational performance and compliance with regulation and policy
  • Identifying areas of risk requiring management attention and mitigations for those risks to assist in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the acquisition process
  • Analyzing audit reports conducted by external agencies and assist the customer in the development of official positions and resolution of findings
  • Consolidating trends and recommend best practices from audit reviews
  • Collecting best practices identified from internal reviews and display best practices on the internal
  • Maintaining audit working papers including preparation of schedules, summaries, and reports to include metrics and action items


Qualifications

What are the Required Qualifications?



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related; may substitute education with equivalent amount of work experience in an audit related role
  • 5-10 years of professional work experience, to include a minimum of 3 years of contract or project management, and 2 years of experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Government Contracts Experience Required



What are the Desired Qualifications?



  • Certifications related to federal acquisition or contracting are preferred
  • GS-1102 job experience



Compensation: Starting at $50/hr, based on level of experience. Plus some benefits.
