The Operator is responsible for Operating remote cameras to videotape inside sewer lines for inspections and determine if cleaning and/or repairs and reinstatement of service laterals after rehabilitation (cutting taps) are needed.

What You'll Do:

• Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific product and process
• Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate material
• Enter manhole/confined space to cut line for installation.
• Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+lbs in weight.
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Cure resin product using an inflation tube, banding boots, lay flat, boiler hose, etc.
• Learn/train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at jobsite/shop jobsnow

What We Need from You:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and /or Installation Technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license required with clean motor vehicle report
• Must possess, or obtain with 180 days of hire, a CDL with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes), compliant with Insituform's motor vehicle standards
• Must be able to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery powered or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Travel by automobile required jobsnow
