Advanced Systems Engineer
Job Title: Systems Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a robust software engineering background to support large-scale, integrated solution programs that combine hardware and software. If you have worked on complex software systems or have extensive knowledge of DoD domains and programs, we encourage you to apply. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a systems-level approach to problem-solving and possess a growth-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the systems development lifecycle, with expertise in requirements management and system modeling tools.
  • Apply technical standards and methodologies to develop creative, innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, providing technical leadership and ensuring the success of the team.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and negotiate with stakeholders to meet challenging customer requirements and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • 5 years of experience working with large solution programs that integrate both hardware and software.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer on complex software systems.
  • 5 years of experience working within DoD domains or programs.
  • Strong proficiency in systems development, including expertise in requirements management and system modeling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving team success and stakeholder satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
  • Minimum 5 years of software experience with large solution programs, which include both Hardware and Software.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with DOD domain/programs
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Agile experience.
  • Demonstrated capability to think at a Systems Level, and has a growth mindset.
  • Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency in requirements management and system modelling tools
  • Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
  • Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
