Job Summary:
This position will help maintain the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of our premier conference facility. As a custodian, you'll be responsible for ensuring the tidiness of our meeting rooms, common areas, and restrooms, along with other custodial duties. Everyday task include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, furniture, and fixtures, waste removal, clean, and sanitize restrooms. Responsibilities: Cleans facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours. Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.

The Wisconsin Union is a financially self-supporting division of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Financial support for the organization is provided by income earned by over thirty food service units and a variety of nonfood units such as games, guest rooms, space rentals and campus vending. Substantial support is also provided by student fees. The total annual organizational budget is approximately $60 million dollars.
