Regional Operations Coordinator (ROC) - behavioral health

Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Regional Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Team in Raleigh, NC. This isn't just a job - it's an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

The Regional Operations Coordinator (ROC) is responsible for providing administrative support to the Regional Director / management team, and upon request, to implement administrative systems and procedures to support efficient operation of the region. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to collecting, managing, organizing, and processing financial and administrative operational information as directed by the Regional Director.

$47,000 - $55,000 / year, comprehensive benefits
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

What you'll do:

Administrative Support: Warmly greet clients and answer / triage phone calls. Coordinate, document, and follow up on referrals for services. Share health information with internal treatment staff. Facilitate medical release of information. Assess individuals' service needs and report to the team. Conduct outreach to individuals at risk of discharge. Organize and maintain office supplies, files, and equipment. Support Regional Director in QM initiatives. Assist with licensing processes. Produce computer reports as needed. Act as a liaison with internal and external organizations.

Financial Management: Process invoices and seek approval for expenses. Reconcile retail cards, receipts, and expense reports. Develop and maintain expense reports to track spending.

Human Resources: Follow up with missing HR paperwork. Complete on-boarding for new hires. Support Regional Director in QM initiatives. Assist with licensing processes.

Regional Responsibilities: Assist with CARF accreditation and licensing. Ensure records are audit ready. Serve as primary contact for new employee orientation. Assist with data coordination. Assist with Human Rights meetings, investigations, and reporting. Assist Regional Director with budget and expenses. Maintain documentation for property vendors and service contracts. Ensure vehicle maintenance. Coordinate facility needs. Prepare letters for medical records. Provide Front Desk coverage. Assist with regional projects. Update program and regional policies and procedures. Maintain regional organizational chart, staff changes, and personnel contact information.

General Administration: Participate in and take minutes for Regional Leadership Team Meetings. Facilitate Quality Improvement Committee and Safety Committee meetings. Provide administrative support as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.


What we're looking for:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service Field, Business Administration, or Health Education/Promotion and one or more years of medical administrative experience preferably in the behavioral health field (including knowledge and experience working with individuals with various disabilities).


Or



  • High School Diploma and three or more years of medical administrative experience preferably in the behavioral health field (including knowledge and experience working with individuals with various disabilities).


  • Preferred: Previous leadership or management experience.
  • Preferred: Previous experience working within and managing a unionized workforce.


  • Highly Preferred: Non-profit human service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills.
