QC Inspector 2nd shift

  Duties & Responsibilities:

  
  
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with Company Repair Station Manual/ Quality Manual
  • Analyze, Interpret, evaluate and document NDT inspection results in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, applicable standards, specifications and procedures
  • Record inspection, test data and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based system
  • Use of comparators, micrometers, scales and calipers
  • Ensure completeness of work in process documentation
  • Read, interpret and set up applicable NDT equipment
  • Read and interpret all inspection data and customer requirements
  • Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Manual
  
  
  
  
  

  Requirements/Qualifications:

  
  
  
  
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years related experience.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Ability to determine and implement the most practical and economical method of using tools, gauges, fixtures and parts.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting complex blueprints.
  • Knowledgeable of machine shop practices.
  • Maintains accurate paperwork and records. Proficient in shop mathematics, including decimals
