Who we are and what we do: TennCare is Tennessee's managed care Medicaid program that provides health insurance coverage to certain groups of low-income individuals such as pregnant women, children, caretaker relatives of young children, older adults, and adults with physical disabilities. TennCare provides coverage for approximately 1.7 million Tennesseans and operates with an annual budget of approximately $14 billion. It is run by the Division of TennCare with oversight and some funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). TennCare's mission is to improve the lives of Tennesseans by providing high-quality cost-effective care. Job Overview: TennCare is committed to improving the quality of health care for its members while maximizing the value of every dollar spent. Since its founding, TennCare has been a leader in innovation through clinical care models and delivery system payment reform. The Quality Improvement (QI) Division, an integral team within the Medical Office, is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and leading innovative strategies to improve clinical quality and health outcomes for the members we serve. Operationally, the QI Division works closely with several TennCare divisions to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive quality strategy. Additionally, the Quality Improvement team plays a strategic role in TennCare quality initiatives that focus on transforming primary and behavioral health care delivery, supporting population health and prevention, and addressing social risk factors of health. Externally, the Quality Improvement Division works closely with TennCare's contracted organizations and other state agencies to provide oversight of quality performance and data reporting for TennCare members. The Quality Product Manager leads the strategic implementation, execution, and oversight of technology tools, digital applications, and data sharing that directly support TennCare's quality improvement strategy. TennCare's technology suite includes a digital care management and risk stratification platform that supports provider practices in value-based care and a Closed Loop Referral System (CLRS) that connects members with resources provided by community-based organizations based on social risk factors identified at the health plan and provider levels. Both systems also coordinate data transfers amongst different stakeholders to support care gap closure and care coordination. Key Responsibilities:
