The Opportunity:

The Vice President of Business Partnering & Service Delivery at Emplify Health plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational excellence of the organization's information systems and services. This position involves directing and coordinating the selection, implementation, design, and maintenance of various application systems, including software like ServiceNow, Workday, and Epic. The VP will work closely with leaders to ensure the effective integration of these systems with other institutional applications, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

A key responsibility of this role is overseeing the health information management functions, which include managing patient health care records, medical record storage, retrieval, and retention, as well as clinical data services. The VP will develop and enforce health information management policies and procedures that comply with regulatory and voluntary accreditation requirements for both electronic and paper health records. Monitoring these systems and setting standards for data quality are crucial to maintaining the integrity and reliability of health information across the organization.

Additionally, the VP will manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and renewal, to ensure the organization receives the best value from its software suppliers. This role involves using ServiceNow to submit new software requests and maturing the process for selecting software, with a significant opportunity to save costs through effective vendor management and negotiation. The VP will also participate in quarterly business partnering meetings with various departments to evaluate current vendors, assess their performance, and explore new capabilities.

The Vice President of Application Services will lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams that consistently deliver value to the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex technological landscapes to support Emplify Health's mission of providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Masters degree in Healthcare or Technology field

  • Work Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise application systems management required.
