What you'll do:

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and
detail-oriented Fabricator with a focus on fitting and welding to join
our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that sheet metal parts and welded
subassemblies are properly fitted, welded, and assembled to meet critical
dimensions, finish quality standards, and project specifications. This role
requires precision, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspect
and validate finished components to ensure compliance with internal quality
standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
* Fit up and weld sheet metal parts and assemblies
according to technical drawings, specifications, and verbal guidance from engineering
team.
*Ensure all assemblies meet critical dimensions and finish
quality requirements.
*Inspect and verify the alignment, fitment, and
quality of welded assemblies.
*Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance
teams to address issues and refine assemblies.
*Perform finishing operations to prepare welded,
including grinding, smoothing, and sanding.
*Maintain accurate records of inspections,
measurements, and assembly processes.
*Follow safety protocols and address any safety
concerns promptly.
*Work effectively in a team-oriented and
deadline-driven environment, ensuring projects are completed on time and
to specification.

What you need to be successful:

*Proven experience in fitting and welding sheet metal
parts or similar roles.
*Advanced knowledge of MIG welding techniques,
including MIG brazing.
*Strong ability to read and interpret technical
drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
*High attention to detail and precision to ensure
critical dimensions and quality standards are met.
*Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
*Strong organizational skills and the ability to
prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Ability to read and interpret weld symbols to ensure
proper welding techniques are applied.

Preferred:
*Certification in welding or sheet metal fitting.
*Experience with quality assurance practices,
dimensional inspection and finish quality assessment.
*Familiarity with manufacturing standards and
industry-specific safety regulations.
