What you will do:

The Workers' Compensation (WC) Nurse Case Manager is responsible for managing workers' compensation claims in accordance with industry standards and best practices to ensure equitable claims processing, integrity, and high-quality service for all parties involved. The WC Nurse Case Manager fosters positive working relationships and serves as the primary point of contact for employees, leadership, Occupational Health (OH), external medical providers, external legal counsel, and other parties involved in claims medical management. This role actively participates in cross-functional teams, standing workgroups, and committees dedicated to managing, monitoring, and enhancing employee safety, while facilitating communication on workers' compensation and employee safety trends and best practices.

Who Should Apply:




  • Completion of an accredited RN Nursing Program; BSN preferred or Associates degree in nursing with 4 years of related work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Occupational Health, Workers' Compensation, or Case Management environment.
  • Registered nurse licensure in the State of Participating Organization site where assigned (Maryland, District of Columbia or Florida).
  • RN/WCCM within 6 months of hire is required.
  • Certification through the Workers' Compensation Commission as a Maryland Certificated Rehabilitation Services Provider must be obtained within 1 year of hire.



Salary Range: Minimum 42.34 per hour - Maximum 65.62 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
