Western Region CBO

The Western Region Consolidated Business Office (CBO) provides business office services to 12 acute care hospitals and 1 critical access. Services include billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance and customer service to our affiliated UHS hospital facilities. We are seeking dynamic and talented individuals to join our team. Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle, this position is responsible for directing and administering the operations, programs and activities of the CBO. Working with the management team to plan, organize, and provide guidance to multiple department Managers to achieve and exceed timely billing, collections and cash posting goals. Serving in an administrative leadership role to ensure processes and data meet regulatory requirements and policies for 250+ staff in Billing, Collections, Government, Customer Service, Variance, Appeals/Denials, and Cash Posting. Directs and oversees revenue cycle and collections management of all CBO hospital and facility Accounts Receivables from third party payers. The ideal candidate will be able to mentor and coach staff to optimal levels of productivity and leadership. Financial experience with hospital/ healthcare reimbursement required.


Qualifications

Education:
Four-year college degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Management Operations, Hospital Administration or other applicable degree program. An equivalent amount of work experience may be substituted for four-year degree.

Experience:
Five years' experience in a leadership position in the healthcare industry.

Previous Denial Management Experience and clinical expertise preferred

Other:
Successful record of accomplishment in strategic A/R reduction. Experience in working with Managed Care programs.

Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database and patient accounting system.
