Position: Recruiter

Job Summary:

The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for various roles within our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and implement strategies to ensure a seamless hiring process. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, and a proactive approach to building a talent pipeline.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and establish selection criteria.
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates for in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing roles.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Build relationships with external recruitment agencies, technical schools, and community organizations to expand sourcing efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and job functions is a plus.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.



Physical Requirements:

  • Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, mobile equipment, and walking surfaces strewn with materials, power cords and tools is typical.
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.,
  • Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
  • Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
  • Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area
