Job Description
We are currently hiring aPackaging TechinMilton, DE. Keeps the Packaging Line running through efficient coordination of equipment and materials. Efficiently prepares bottles and packages beer for shipping. Performs and monitors cleaning and sanitation efforts to ensure that the Packaging Line is always ready to run while maintaining sanitation of all packaging and peripheral areas. What You'll Brew: Monitors and performs CIP operations in adherence of sanitation directives Operates and troubleshoots all packaging and kegging equipment Stacks, prepares and coordinates the delivery of finished product to the Warehouse Achieves and records quality benchmarks through the completion and monitoring of all various QC line initiatives Operates a forklift properly and safely Keeps the line always running efficiently and effectively while minimizing beer and material losses Utilizes and troubleshoots all equipment as introduced on the Packaging/Kegging line, including operator controls such as PLC, etc. Maintains departmental standards for efficiency, quality, safety and sanitation during all shift rotations Enforces and adheres to all safety regulations as required by the position and departmental and company safety policies Ensures all machinery is stocked with necessary materials, including glue, glass, crowns, labels, cartons and cases; maximizes resources by minimizing waste Rotating Shifts What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of machine operation experience in a production environment required Mechanical and/or electrical skills/experience required All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their specific role requirement(s) Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal and grated surfaces Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly throughout the day Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights or on elevated platforms Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection and hard hat) Established dexterity so you can handle materials, operate equipment and interface with computer systems with precision Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may be required to sit for a prolonged period of time and have strong peripheral vision and depth perception Preferred Qualifications: Bottling line/high-speed filling operation experience preferred Level: 9 In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe pay rate for this role if hired is $20.60-$23.60 per hour.
