Job Description

Job Summary:

Lead Principal RF engineer for a high-performance digital and RF processing hardware consisting of RF/Microwave components, DDR/other memories, and digital to RF conversion. This is a Program of Record in support of DoD and is in full-rate production (FRP). This job collaborates with program management, operations, supply chain, and quality to meet customer contractual requirements.

Job Responsibility:



  • Technical Lead on high-performance RF and digital processing solutions consisting of RF/Microwave components, RF/RF and RF/Digital conversion.
  • Responsible for the release of the engineering design package to the production configuration management system.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for module troubleshooting.
  • Select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to technical challenges.
  • Lead Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and support Corrective Action Board (CAB) processes
  • Evaluate and integrated Technical Data Package (TDP) changes from Customer into released documentation for production floor use.
  • Provide technical volume / BOE input on follow-on proposal efforts


Required Qualification:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • 7+ years of experiences in hardware, PCB, RF circuits, digital circuits, power supplies
  • Experience providing leadership, guidance and mentoring
  • Experience with build-to-print designs and production implementation
  • Experience with schematics, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.
  • Electronic products testing experience using the following: Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, Noise Figure analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and debugging tools.
  • Experience with defense electronic quality standards
  • Microsoft Office or equivalent.

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering

  • Cadence Allegro
  • Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS or equivalents
