We are currently offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for Truck Driver new hires. $1,250 is payable after 90-days of employment, and the remaining $1,250 is payable after 180 days of employment.
Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Truck Driver in Richmond, Virginia for 3rd shift. The Truck Driver position is responsible for completing daily parts deliveries to Carter Machinery facilities and customer sites. Additional responsibilities include performing general warehouse duties to include parts shipping, receiving, stocking and order fulfillment. Seeking candidates with previous experience driving heavy capacity trucks, required. CDL B license required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience delivering parts and performing warehouse duties preferred. Requirements for the Truck Driver position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Truck Driver job, including the ability to qualify for Department of Transportation medical card. Able to carry and maneuver items up to 70 pounds, including bulky objects. Must be able to work outside in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
