Job Description

Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to support Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) SCRUM team activities. The successful candidate will serve as a key member on one of the Agile Framework SCRUM Teams supporting the MRO solution using unmodified commercial software. Additionally, this candidate support systems design, development, test, implementation, training, help desk, sustainment, change management efforts or business process redesign. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver working software or acceptable deliverables in every iteration and/or each Program Increment
  • Help the Product Owner break larger work items (Features, User Stories) into smaller User Stories based on functionality
  • Estimate Product Backlog items (Features, User Stories)
  • Decompose User Stories into smaller, actionable Tasks
  • Estimate Tasks during Sprint Planning
  • Commit to delivery based on the Definition of Done in accordance with the Agile Strategy Plan
  • Adhere to the Definition of Done in accordance with the Agile Strategy Plan
  • Report daily status and impediments during Daily Stand-Up
  • Escalate impediments to the proper parties
  • Provide support for defect resolution, change requests, and help desk incidents (Level 2 and or Level 3) related to work completed by the Scrum Team or Scrum Team member
  • Perform planning activities to support current work and future work
  • Frequent (daily) communication with and demonstration of progress to the Product Owner
  • Maintain all boards used to track progress and teamwork using the Government selected tool

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Air Force financial management, supply chain, or maintenance experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (requires US Citizenship)
  • Willing and able to travel in support of MRO as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Maintenance background with experience in the Integrated Logistics System - Supply (ILS-S), the Comprehensive Engine Maintenance System (CEMS), or the Wholesale and Retail Receiving and Shipping System (D035K), a plus.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, JAVA, and SOA
  • Agile Framework (i.e., SCRUM Master, Product Owner) certifications

This position is currently remote. Management or the client may adjust or eliminate the remote work arrangement at any point. This would require employee presence at a defined work location on a full-time or hybrid basis, depending on client needs

The expected salary range for this position is between $69,000 and $105,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
