Job Summary
Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in our Key Bank communities. This role is responsible for querying data and creating basic analysis to assist with formulating hypotheses and generating client insights to inform business decisions. The Consumer Analyst will act as an Incentive Coordinator, troubleshooting, streamlining processes, working with partners and the sales teams when appropriate. The Consumer Analyst also assist with identifying internal process improvements and researching external market trends to generate ideas for business opportunities and overcoming business challenges. The Consumer Analyst will deliver some routine reporting when appropriate. The Consumer Analyst may also lead the implementation of small initiatives in coordination with other team members and support partners. Responsibilities

  • Compiles and provides internal client data to assist with building analytics, reports, and formulating client hypothesis
  • Compiles, evaluates, and provides external market research to help inform business opportunities
  • Provides simple analysis to support the production of client insights
  • Reviews internal processes to identify and recommend process improvements
  • Facilitates implementation of small initiatives in collaboration with support partners
  • Assists with preparing presentations to senior leaders
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience (required)

Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years' experience in financial services (required)
  • SQL, Tableau or other visualization software (preferred)
  • Previous experience working with Incentive programs (preferred)

Physical Demands

  • General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $66,000 to $85,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
